This is the first Pinecone Ballerina Decoration of the series and does not come with a tutu under her pleated dress.  Each dancer is at the center of a fuzzy base that gives it a gravity defying quality that adds to it’s allure and beauty.  Made of two pinecones and other materials assembled and posed in an elegant dance move.  The sculptures form gives the illusion of a dancer that look almost humanlike and frozen in time.

The bottom of the sculpture is signed by the artist and includes the the year it was made.  Next to the signature you can find the series number and a sequence number of the pinecone ballerina sculpture.  Series number indicates the order a new style was made and the sequence number indicates the quantity that have been made of that series.

Each pinecone dancer in the series is handmade by the artist Barrett Dvorsky at the Do Art Here studio.  Inspired by the holidays to create form out of natural supplies, fancy ribbons, and some festive cheer.  Every dancer sculpture of the series is different, pushing the style and grace that ballerina’s bring to the stage.  For made to order items, please allow up to two weeks for orders to ship.

See something you like on two different dancers or want a certain color to match your home or someone’s favorite color?  Each dancer has details that are similar and some that make them completely different.  There styles for the pleats and the dresses can have more or less layers.  If you want your decoration to have a folk art feel or a more luxurious look we can choose materials to match your décor.  If you don’t want the standard snow capped base with your decoration call and order a customized base.  Checkout the base for series number 10 that has a red wrap around the base.  Contact me about what options are available.  Ask about larger bases, different finishes, and deposits for custom art.
