Basics of Watercolor Classes at Do Art Here

Want to learn how to use watercolor paints?  Sign up for our four week course and get an introduction to basic watercolor painting.  The class cost is $125 per person which includes paper and masking fluid for the duration of the classes.  48 Color watercolor pan sets are available for purchase for people participating for the first time.  The paint set includes three commonly used brushes.

Do Art Here watercolors courses cover how to mix paints with water to get values and how to mix colors.  Beginners will get instruction in doing color sample swatches of your colors, sketching concepts, fluid masking, washes, and line work.  Learn the causes of paper ragging and how to avoid it.  Get help with how to fix other small mistakes like using to little water and using to much color.

By the end you will have a basic understanding of how watercolor paints work and how to start using them to create art at home.  The class covers a series of skill building exercises that help you work on developing the techniques to do more complicated watercolor artwork.
