Basics of Acrylic Paint Classes at Do Art Here

Want to learn how to use acrylic paints?  Sign up for our four week course and get an introduction to basic acrylic painting.  The cost of the class is $145 per person which includes two 16″x20″ canvases.  We provide all your paints and brushes throughout the course.

The Do Art Here basic acrylics course covers how to mix and use acrylic paints.  Learn to mix colors for rendering and rich colorful shadows.  Learn to do a basic sketch and when to use water with your paints to do a wash or add layers as you paint.  See how to build layers of paint to help different parts of your composition stand out.  Learn a knowledge of brush techniques used to get different types of layers and color interactions.

By the end of the class you will have a better understanding of how to use acrylic paints.  The class covers a series of skill building exercises that help you work on developing the techniques to do more complicated artwork.
